Together with their VPC-FH1A Dual camcorder Sanyo introduced the VPC-HD2000A. It features High Definition 1080P (1920 x 1080) recording.
Like its sibling, the camcorder is compatible with iFrame video format (960 x 540). This format is used to edit videos on a computer, as file sizes are small. So you’ll be able to easily and quickly import, edit and share your videos.
The camcorder incorporates the SANYO proprietary CMOS engine, so it can record in 1080p (progressive) format at 60 frames per second, providing ultra-smooth, professional-looking videos. It features high speed video formats for slow motion playback well.
The VPC-HD2000A can shoot not only high-end videos, but also takes eight-megapixel stills and can shoot both stills and videos simultaneously. High-speed continuous shooting is possible at 12fps. And there are a lot of shooting modes including macro mode in the camera.

SANYO Europe announces two new compact digital cameras – the VPC-S1275 and the VPC-E1090. They feature 12 and 10 megapixels of resolution respectively. Both cameras are very easy to use and are extremely compact in size and will fit in any pocket or small bag.
Other features include 3x optical zoom and large 2.7 inch LCD that helps amateur photographers to compose and view their images. The camera has a number of scene modes such as Beach, Party, or Night Scenery, etc. They optimize settings for every situation.
With these 2 Sanyo cameras self-portraits are no longer a problem: in Self-portrait mode, the face automatically identified and focused and camera takes the image automatically, you don’t even need to trigger the shutter. Smile and Face Detection are also included in these cameras.
The VPC-S1275 and the VPC-E1090 also offer a selection of 9 different picture frames to add more fun to the process of taking pictures.
The S1275 is equipped with two AA batteries; the E1090 is with a lithium-ion battery. Both cameras have an internal memory of 16 megabytes and support SDHC cards up to 16 GB.
The initial model VPC-S1275 is on two AA batteries, which VPC-E1090 is equipped with a lithium-ion battery, with battery life of 220 shots.
