Samsung TL220 (aka ST500 in Europe) is a 12.2-megapixel digital camera with 27mm wide-angle 4.6x optical zoom lens, wide range of creative shooting modes and Dual LCD screens. It records 720p HD video at 30 frames per-second.

The camera is a point-and-shoot one with the Smart Auto feature, which analyzes key elements of your composition and subject and adjusts the camera setting according to the appropriate.

For great portraits the TL220 incorporates the Smart Face Recognition technology (of up to 20 faces) to adjust the focus and exposure to the recognized faces. It also makes your photo album smart because now you can sort images by registered faces.

This compact digcam features the so-called Dual View system that consists of one LCD on the front of the camera, and a second one on the back of the camera. The 1.5” LCD front touch panel acts as a viewfinder for self portrait modes when you are they are in front of the camera. It can also show a timer countdown, or an animation to attract a child’s attention for them to look at the camera.

Also the TL220 offers you its Smart Gesture User Interface: once it is turned on, a simple tap on the front LCD sets the camera to Self Portrait mode with smile detection. You only need to smile, and the picture will be taken automatically.

One more notable feature is the camera’s Photo Style Selector that hidden in itself a wide selection of artistic treatments, from classic black and white to something more vivid. It makes your photos look like works of art.
