Samsung has unveiled the TL110 and TL105 ultra compact cameras. Outside the U.S. market they are known as the ST70 and the ST60 respectively. Being only 16mm thick they are nevertheless well equipped for simple, beautiful, on-the-go photography.

The 14.2 megapixel TL110 and 12 megapixel TL105 offer 2.7 inch LCDs, 27mm wide angle 5x zoom lenses and 720p HD video recording. They succeed the TL100 digital camera, and unlike it, their lenses are equipped with optical image stabilization.

Unlike other new Samsung cameras- the HZ30W and HZ35W – these ones do not feature full manual controls. Instead, they offer Samsung’s advanced scene recognition technology, Smart Auto for both still images & movies. The technology analyses the composition and automatically chooses between one of four pre-programmed scenes to match the shooting conditions. .

There also 12 scene modes available for the user’s selection. You can also manually set such options as ISO, white balance, metering mode, AF, and exposure compensation.

The cameras also include different photography styles to suit all scenarios, including Normal, Soft, Vivid, Forest, Retro, Cool, Calm, Classic, Negative, Custom RGB and two new options: Sketch and DeFog Clear/Fog Lifting. For making creating something more creative, both cameras come with fantastic Fisheye and Lomo functions.

Both the TL110 and TL105 come equipped with HD video recording to record video at a resolution of 720p / 30fps, using H.264 compression.

Samsung has recently introduced a new simple digicam, the Samsung PL80 which is also known as SL630 in North America region. The camera with key features of 12megapixels and 5x optical zoom is packed in a slim and compact body.

The camera comes equipped with a 2.7-inch LCD Screen for framing and viewing your shots and can also record standard definition video clips at a resolution of 640×480 and at a speed of at 30 frames per second.

The users of the camera will definitely benefit from the SL360’s Dual Image Stabilization (IS) function which allows for clear and sharp images even in low-light conditions. It combines Optical (lens based) IS that compensates for hand trembling by shifting the lens and Digital IS that raises ISO to allow for faster shutter speeds.

The camera is a simple point-and-shoot, but is has an array of automatic controls such as Samsung’s advanced scene detection technology hidden in the camera’s Smart Auto mode. So the camera analyzes key elements of the composition and then selects the appropriate scene mode to produce the best possible result.

The SL630 makes use Samsung’s object tracking as well. It gives you the ability to select any object or area within the frame, and the camera will lock and keep its focus on the subject even if it’s moving.

Samsung unveiled new superzoom digital cameras, the HZ35W & HZ30W. In Europe they are known as the WB650 in the WB600 respectively and share 12.2 megapixels of resolution, 15x optical zoom and 720p HD video recording.

Furthermore, the HZ35W digital camera features built-in GPS with visual map-view function and a 3.0″ AMOLED display while the HZ30W has neither, instead offering a 3.0″ LCD. For these features the cameras are rather slim being just 28mm thick.

They succeed the Samsung’s TL320 and HZ15W digicams and have the same wide-angle 24mm Schneider lenses. The lenses are also equipped with Dual Image Stabilization (IS) to help achieve sharp and clear images, combining Optical and Digital Image stabilizers.

In order to simplify the process of shooting the cameras offer Samsung’s advanced scene recognition technology, Smart Auto for both Still & Movie. This technology analyses the composition of an image and automatically chooses between one of four pre-programmed settings and selects the setting that will provide for proper exposure and color balance for both still images and videos.

The HZ35W & HZ30W feature also Samsung’s Perfect Portrait System that males it easy to take photos of your friends and family by offering Face Detection, Smile Shot and Blink Detection together with Beauty Shot feature.

Both the cameras offer the ability to record video at a resolution of 720p / 30fps. They use H.264 compression and offer true HDMI connectivity.
