The Samsung HMX-U20 is an ultra-compact camcorder that was announced together with the HMX15 model. It boasts 1920×1080 full HD resolution video and can shoot 10- and 8-megapixel still photos. It is housed in compact and elegant body with the following color options - black, silver, blue or red.

The camcorder is incorporates a standard 1/2.3 inch CMOS sensor and has features 3x optical zoom and Hyper Digital Image Stabilization to help produce blur-free video.

The HMX-20 offers you a time lapse recording function, which adds fun to your video shooting experience. You can record at a pre-set interval of one image every one with its help, five, 10 or 30 seconds. It is useful for making dynamic and easy-to- view video clips from too long events like rolling clouds.

The HMX-U20 features the intelli studio software, Samsung’s play edit sharing program for editing and playing your videos without having to install supporting software on your PC. There’s also one-touch “upload” button to make sharing files on the internet simpler. So when the connection is established, it links directly to popular content sharing Web sites such as YouTube.

The model has a swing-out style USB, which eliminates having to use a separate USB cable to upload files to your computer. Moreover, you can recharge the battery when the HMX20 is connected to your PC.

The camcorder features a design not only stylish but also ergonomic design. It is very comfortable to hold thanks to its peculiar body shape which is angled at seven degrees to reduce stress on you wrist and arm, which means longer videos without getting too tired.
