Fujifilm FinePix Z70 is the company’s latest to its fun and fashionable range of Z-series compact cameras featuring 12 megapixels of resolution, 2.7” LCD screen, 5x optical zoom and one-touch HD movie capture.

The camera is housed in a chic metal body with a horizontal sliding lens barrier and LED illuminated keys. It measures only 18.1mm in the thinnest part and comes in a choice of Black, Silver Blue and Berry Red colors.

The Z70 is targeted at first-time users who don’t want to bother about camera setting yet require high-quality photos. It offers Scene Recognition Auto (SR AUTO) mode for intelligent detection of the scene being shot and optimizing setting to get best picture possible. There’re also 16 creative scene modes in the camera.

For great people’s shots you can make use of the camera’s Face Detection and Automatic Red-eye Removal functions. The former is able to detect up to 10 faces simultaneously and apply correct exposure and focus to them.

The AF Tracking function tracks fast moving subjects and keeps them constantly in focus to avoid motion blur.

It is possible to shoot 720p HD movies with the Z70. The newly added Movie Edit feature allows you to apply various effects to your videos, for instance, B&W, Sepia or dynamic lighting settings. The Blog Mode lets you change color tones, contrasts and brightness of video clips, and add Diagonal Crop and Face Mosaic.
