The Samsung HMX-U15 is a new ultra-compact camcorder that succeeds the HMX-U10 model. It features 1920×1080 full HD resolution video as well as 14-megapixel still photo capture. It comes in compact and elegant body available in various color options - black, silver, blue or red.

The camcorder is equipped with a standard 1/2.3 inch CMOS sensor, has no optical zoom, but features Hyper Digital Image Stabilization to help produce blur-free video.

There’s a time lapse recording function in the HMX-15, which adds fun to your video shooting experience. It allows you to record at a pre-set interval of one image every one, five, 10 or 30 seconds, which is useful for making dynamic and easy-to- view video clips from too long events like rolling clouds.

The HMX-U15 features Samsung’s play edit sharing program, called intelli studio, for editing and playing your videos without having to install supporting software on your PC. Furthermore, one-touch “upload” button simplifies sharing files on the internet connection, as it links directly to popular content sharing Web sites such as YouTube.

The camcorder has swing-out style USB connection, which eliminates having to use a separate USB cable to upload files to your computer. The device’s battery also recharges when it is connected to your PC.

The camcorder’s design is not only stylish but also ergonomic. It is very comfortable to hold thanks to its peculiar body shape. The body is angled at seven degrees, which reduces stress on you wrist and arm, which means longer videos without getting too tired.
