Casio Exilin EX-FC150 High-Speed Digital Camera

Casio introduced a new Exilim EX-FC150 digital camera to their high speed category. It will be available exclusively in the Japanese market, but perhaps someday it will hit American and European markets as well.
The camera has compact dimensions, a mere 99.8 x 58.5 x 28.8 mm, so it suits any pocket and can be easily taken anywhere, so will never miss the moment.
The camera succeeds the EX-FC100 model and features 10 megapixels of resolution in comparison with its predecessor’s 9 megapixels, a new SMOS image sensor with an improved signal/noise quality and a 5x optical zoom.
The EX-FC150 supports fast consecutive shots to as much as 1,000 fps. You can also set the amount of pictures you want to take in burst mode, after which the camera will pick out the best pictures automatically. Also, there’s a possibility to combine several pictures from a burst session into one picture.
The new also camera features a high-speed video function. With its help it is actually possible to capture video so fast that the images are actually stored faster than the human eye is able to follow. Then you can then play these pictures in ultra-slow motion with any of the chosen playback speeds: 1,000, 420, 240 and 120 frames per second.
There’s also a dedicated button pressing which you can change the capture speed to 240 frames per second during video recording.
