Sanyo introduced its high-end Dual Camera, the VPC-FH1A. It can record in High Definition 1080P (1920 x 1080), as well as high speed video formats for slow motion playback.

It are said to be world’s first camcorder compatible with iFrame video format (960 x 540) that is the same format used to edit on a computer. It allows you to easily and quickly import, edit and share your videos while file sizes are small.

At the heart of the camcorder lies the SANYO proprietary CMOS engine, so recording is available in 1080p (progressive) format at 60 frames per second, which results in ultra-smooth, professional-looking videos.

Additionally it can record eight-megapixel stills and can take both stills and videos simultaneously. Sequential shooting is also available at 12fps, as well as a number of shooting modes including macro photo capability.

The Dual Camera record photos and videos to SD/SDHC media cards and has separate video and photo mode buttons for easy switching between them. As to its design the FH1A is made in a traditional style.

This camcorder will be available for a suggested retail price $499.99 .
