Pentax Optio E80
Pentax have announced the launch of the Pentax Optio E80 digital compact camera that comes equipped with a lot of user-friendly features to make high-quality photography available even for first-time users.
The E80 features 10-megapixel CCD sensor, 3x optical zoom and a large 2.7 inch color LCD with menus printed in large letters. It is capable of shooting HD movies (equivalent to 1280×720p at 15 fps) as well.
The Pentax Optio E80 offers you an upgraded version of Pentax’s original Auto Picture mode, which automatically selects the most appropriate shooting mode simply by pointing the camera at the subject and pressing the shutter release button halfway down. The selection of scenes is really rich.
There’s also user-friendly Green mode in the camera. It selects the optimum combination of exposure settings, ISO sensitivity and other factors for a given subject or scene making high-quality digital photography simple and effortless.
Images are sharp with Digital SR (Shake Reduction) mode, which minimizes camera shake and blur due to subject movement under low-lighting conditions. The camera simply raises the sensitivity up to as high as ISO 6400. Movie SR (Shake Reduction) is also available in Movie Mode.
That’s very nice that the E80 is powered by AA-batteries so you don’t need to worry about running out of power away from a recharge outlet. You can simply buy a pair of fresh alkaline batteries!
