Nikon Coolpix S640 Fast Compact Camera

Nikon have introduced several Coolpix cameras this summer, and the COOLPIX S640 is among them. Ultra quick and easy to use, it ensures you never miss the moment you wanted to capture.
The camera features 10 megapixels of resolution, 28mm wide-angle 5x optical zoom lens and 2.7 inch LCD monitor with wide-viewing angle, anti-reflection coating and water repellent layer – all in a sleek body.
The camera is easy to use: its Scene Auto Selector automatically recognizes the scene in your picture and adjusts camera setting. And it doesn’t take long to focus for the COOLPIX S640 - images are taken almost instantaneously.
And images are sharp with Nikon’s optical lens shift VR image stabilisation that compensates for the effects of camera shake. There’s also Motion Detection function in the camera to automatically control shutter speed and the ISO setting. Meanwhile, ISO3200 and 6400 are available in FULL resolution mode, but be afraid of noise.
And, Nikon’s original BSS (Best Shot Selector) function automatically shoots a series of sequential frames and saves the one with the sharpest focus.
Subject Tracking, in its turn, will track a moving subject to ensure sharp focus - even if they temporarily move out of the frame. It’s a handy feature while photographing children.
Images, produced by the S640 are nice too. Nikon’s Smart Portrait System includes Skin Softening, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix™, Face-Priority AF and Smile Timer, Blink Proof and Blink Warning functions to ensure smart true-to-life portraits. Quick Retouch Function cab also improve some imperfections such as contrast and saturation.
