Casio Exilim EX-H10

Casio today announced the 12.1-megapixel Casio EXILIM Hi-Zoom EX-H10 with a 10X optical zoom lens, HD movies at 1280×720 pixels and a battery life of 1,000 shots according to the CIPA standard - all in a body that is just 24.3mm thin.
At the heart of the new EX-H10 is the EXILIM Engine 4.0 that provides higher image quality and lower power consumption in a compact package. Moreover, it ensures clear and bright color reproduction is, so the images have a rich tonal gradation.
The Exilim EX-h10 features a 10X optical zoom lens, a large, 3.0-inch monitor and a CCD-shift image stabilization mechanism. Wide-angle lens capabilities start at 24 mm (35 mm film camera equivalent), so the photographer is ready for any scene - from huge buildings to distant figures in a landscape.
The camera has a dedicated button for beautifully photographing landscapes. You can choose between the Vivid Landscape option, which vividly enhances only the most impressive colors, and the Mist Removal option, which produces clearer pictures when the atmosphere is misty.
In a Makeup Mode the camera creates beautiful pictures of people’s faces that are correctly focused and well exposed, adjusts the smoothness of skin, and softens facial shadows caused by sunlight.
With a Handheld Night Scene function and Lighting function the H10 can automatically detects camera shake and backlit scenes where faces or backgrounds can be poorly exposed and then makes the most appropriate settings.
Dynamic Photo function lets you cut out images of a moving subject that have been photographed and combined them with a different still image that forms the background, right on the camera, without the need for any editing on a computer.
In the USA the Casio H10 will be available in mid July in black.
