F601 Fuji
It is common knowledge that small cameras are uncontrolled. But FUJIFILM decided to disprove this axiom by producing Fuji FinePix F601 Zoom. At first sight the camera is very similar to its predecessors FinePix 4700, 4800 and 6800 Zoom: it has the same traditional design by Porsche. But if you look at the back side of the camera you’ll see that the design was subjected to a considerable remaking. LCD indicator disappeared and only small color LCD display and a group of buttons were left. On the whole Fuji FinePix F601is a tiny camera with time-tested ergonomic design that allows to shot images with the same convenience both in horizontal and upright position of the camera.
Switch on the camera and you’ll see that the facilities of control were also subjected to material changes. Now the user has a choice: he can either rely upon the camera’s automation or he can himself choose the mode needed. The camera is second to none in the controllability to its advanced predecessors. There is an opportunity to set the modes of portrait, landscape and night photography. But you also can use traditional way of photography with diaphragm and exposure. You can take pictures with the priority of exposure, with the priority of diaphragm or switch to fully manual mode which allows you to set the exposure from 1/2000 to 3 and diaphragm (F:2,8; F:4,5; F:7,0; F:10,8). You can use automatic focusing or switch to fully manual. The camera also has a wide range of sensitivity from 160 ISO to 400 ISO. If you take small pictures (1289 х 960 pixels) you can set the sensitivity from 800 ISO to 1600 ISO.
Technical features of Fuji FinePix F601 Zoom are also very similar to its predecessor’s Fuji FinePix 6800. It has:
• an effective resolution of 3.1Megapixels
• Super CCD sensor
• F 2.8-4.8diaphragm
• optical digital zoom
• 1.5 TFT LCD display
• USB, Smart Media memory expansion slot

The camera is compact: its size is 93х72×34 mm and its weight is 243 g (without the battery and memory card).
