Neutral Density filter
It gives a photographic solution to too much light.
1. Digital cameras are able to shoot at any ISO sensitivity that the owner chooses, while sensitivity of conventional cameras is defined by the film. But even with this advantage of digital cameras, problems may appear. There are some situations, when even at a minimum ISO (of about ISO of 100-200) there is too much light available, for example, in shots of the snowy mountains or portraits, when it is necessary to completely open aperture.
2. Another problem that can be solved with the help of a graduated neutral density filter is a contrast misbalance. It happens with the sky and the foreground in the afternoon require different exposition. The difference of the required expositions can be as high as 4-5 degrees. If you use a grey gradient density filter, you will save a good deal of time in the post process. Besides, these filters should not cover the whole screen. Attach it to the lens so than you can easily create a horizon line.
These filters allow the user to make even more bright and dramatic photos of sunset and sunrise. They also can be of different color, which helps you to solve difficult creative tasks.
Color Correction Filters
White balance is a unique feature, which is extremely effective in digital photography. But there are still situations, when it is very difficult to choose the right white balance and only the best and most expensive digital cameras can do.
The problem appears if lighting is provided by luminescent lamps of any type. Some of such lamps that produce pseudo white light can well add a yellowish green tone to your image. It is better to prevent this dull effect, which is actually not easy to be got rid of.
Color correction filters allow the photographer to get high-quality images and save time for more images, because a post processing is not required. Besides, there are similar filters for camera flash.
