A new announcation from Sony digital world – Sony Cyber-shot S800. It is going to satisfy the user with 8.1MP digital camera, 6x zoom lens, 12x digital zoom, special high sensitivity mode of ISO 1250 and a 2.5-inch TFT LCD display with a high resolution of 230.000 pixels.

The Cyber-Shot S800 allows 390 shots battery life, includes 56MB internal memory and 16:9 mode for playback on widescreen TV.

Despite Sony’s powerful imaging capabilities, it won’t be difficult for you to get the best out of the S800. The easy-to-follow Function Guide offers simple advice on picking the optimal shooting mode for any subject. There’s also on-screen guidance that shows a suggested size for printing paper and the number of images remaining, dependent on remaining memory space.

The S800 is equipped with a one-touch Direct Playback button that switches straight to Playback mode while shooting for quick, confident checking of your images.

As it is expected, The Cyber-shot S800 will be available throughout Europe from end of May 2007
