Olympus has announced an upgraded and improved version of the E-400 digital SLR – Olympus E-410. The E-410 has a 10 megapixel Live MOS sensor which provides it with a Live View capability as well as improved high sensitivity performance.

Olympus E-410 places emphasis on boosting performance and reducing image noise. By incorporating a new image processing engine and sensor, this latest Olympus model produces sensationally clear 10 Megapixel results with accurate color reproduction, and can boast faster processing speeds.

The E-410 includes full manual control for unlimited creative freedom, 32 consumer-friendly shooting modes are on board. These range from Portrait and Macro to Underwater Wide, Underwater Macro and xD Panorama. Meanwhile, photographers can make use of various colour modes and Black&White filters. The function of Live Preview allows users to preview and manage tedious adjustments such as exposure and WB compensation right on the LCD.

The compact size of the Olympus E410 allows you to take the camera with you all the time. The size also invites you to use one of the smallest memory cards available from Olympus‘ own kitchen: the xD Picture Card. However; the Olympus E-410 is equipped with a dual card slot, so not only the xD card is supported but also the CompactFlash memory card.
