Nowadays it is a common thing for a young girl, who isn’t even 13 years old to dream about being a model. And it’s not surprising, because such immature age is considered to be the best one to start a model career. At times it looks ridiculous. While looking through most of the glossy magazines we see pictures of those CHILDREN, who are just eager to SEEM grown-ups. It’s the fact that the so called prepubescent photography is in great demand today.

There are different opinions concerning this problem. Some may say that this is the very age when it’s high time children started their career, others do not agree with them insisting on the fact that such photos and such business not just deprave these models themselves, but become food for perverted imagination of representatives of different strata of society.

Many people see nothing to argue about in those pictures, they just consider it to be ART, and it would not be right to condemn them for their point of view. Moreover, it all depends! The images of teenagers are really diverse, and some of them do not seem to suggest anything perverting, they are just photos, used for achieving different goals.

There are numerous exhibitions in the world presenting such pictures as a kind of art, and there is nothing bad in them. But when we see the images of nude teenagers on the Internet or at those very exhibitions, for example, it becomes to be apprehended as pornography. I’m not talking about legal model business right now, but just about obscene pictures of those, who have always dreamed of  becoming models.

In the United States the Government banned commercial photography of any person who is under 17 years old and the punishment for not obeying this law is really very strict. For people who were accused of offering and displaying such images it may cost 10 years in prison.

It is a very profitable business, but at the same time it may harm those immature creatures that believed and wanted their dreams to come into reality. For some reasons one may agree with the  law introduced in the United States, the success or failure of which only time is able to show.
