Samsung S500 digital camera
CNET has reviewed the Samsung S500, a 5.1 megapixel point-and-shoot from the S-series. The camera offers a 5.1 megapixel CCD image sensor, a 2.4 inch LCD screen, a 3x optical zoom and a 10x digital zoom.
The camera is remarkable for its manual exposure control, RGB intensity controls and compact size, but there are also some drawbacks as well. The S500 does not always deliver a high-end images, has confusing menus and no aperture or shutter priority. But at the same time it retails at a relatively low price, approximately $150.
