In general, there are not many changes in Capture 3 compared to Capture 2, but is by no means bad news. Capture 2 is rather a good program and this version added some new features.

Capture has been the most complete RAW conversion software released by a camera manufacturer so far. Other manufacturer solutions do not support monitor profiles, but Capture, you know, does. But other manufactures provide their software for free.

Bibble might one day also support D100 NEF files and then it will be possible to compare two major Nikon tools: Bibble and Capture.
