The new HP printer makes images using a set of eight pigment-based Vivera inks with preliminary 200-year fade-resistance rating.

For cost-counting users, the printhead has continuous nozzle checking feature and has an option to clean an individual nozzle, which minimizes the waste of ink.

HP is rather a quick printer: 1.5 minutes for a 13×19 photo and 10 seconds for a 4×6.
