Nikon Digital SLR: D2XS
Nikon today has unveiled the D2Xs, a new professional digital SLR camera. It is based on its predecessor the D2X. It offers a 12.4 megapixel CMOS image sensor and high shooting speed of up to five frames per second and up to eight frames per second when switched to a lower resolution 6.8 megapixel mode. The new version also features an improved viewfinder, a LCD screen with with a 170-degree wide viewing angle and significantly increased battery life. Other refinements include a black and white image mode, in-camera image cropping of any image type in playback mode, the ability to save and load camera settings. The camera has an ergonomic body.
It will be available in late June for a retail price of $4699.95.

I’m not sure this is going to make a big splash. Especially not when you can get the D200 for so much less.
