Fujifilm has introduced the Fujifilm Finepix Z3, an improved successor to the Z1 model. The new version incorporates a a 5.1 megapixel CCD imager, a 3x Optical Zoom lens, 2.5 inch LCD display with 230000 pixels. It also spots an ISO range up to 1600 to improve images at low-light situations and faster shutter speeds to stabilize pictures and reduce blur caused by camera movements. The Movie mode captures VGA movies with sound at 30 frames per second. It also has 14 Scene Modes and 10MB of internal memory.

The Fujifilm Finepix Z3 is expected in July 2006 at a retail price of $279.95.
