SANYO has unveiled its new compact affordable 6-Megapixel Digital Camera the Sanyo Xacti S60. It features a large 2.5 inch TFT LCD monitor, a 35-105mm focal length (35mm format equivalent) and Sanyo’s unique Touch Sensor Shutter. Its Super Macro mode that captures images in vivid high-resolution as close as 5 cm and its Movie Mode records high-resolution video of 640 x 480 (VGA) pixels at 30fps. The Sanyo Xacti S60 is a palm-sized camera that is housed in an ergonomic chrome body and has a long enough battery to capture up to 240 images per single charge.

The S60 will be available by the end of May 2006 for only $199.99.
