Chema Madoz studied Art History at Universidad Complutense de Madrid between 1980 and 1983.His first individual exhibition run in 1985. Since that time Chema achieved a lot.

In an interview published in 2001, Chema shares that he currently uses a Hasselblad camera to take his photos. The book, Chema Madoz: Objetos 1990–1999 was presumably shot entirely with this camera, but previously he has used the 6×6 Mamiya.
The
artist uses simple everyday things to make his fresh ideas come true.
First the viewer sees the ladder and then understands that this ladder
leads to the mirror. And this very moment makes you an explorer. As
soon as the first incredible feeling of discovery vanishes slowly, you begin to imagine...

His
artwork helps to train the mind, ruins the stereotypes, creates new
connections with this huge various world. It's not a secret that when
you once see common things from different perspective, you will try to
do it again in your own life. And it's the highest influence of art -
when it can make us think differently and live better! All images are copyrighted. The official site.
