Customers Reviews 2009-08-31 Fun for a day, not worth it in the long run I got this item for a very steep discount and I'm still not very happy with it. The "zink" paper is truly a breakthrough. It reminds me of old polaroids, but in a different package. Problems: the paper is ridiculously expensive. It's around 50 cents per sheet and by sheet we're talking about 2"x3" or the size of a business card. This paper is very low quality in my opinion. After you print out a picture and peel off the sticker-like adhesive back, you're time is now running. The picture will stick for a short while on whatever surface you decide, but eventually, like a day later, it will start to peel back and "curl" until finally it drops off and is useless. The pictures are grainy, I'm certain that has nothing to do with my camera, the pictures come out with lines in them as well. It doesnt work with the iPhone, which is a drawback, but not everyone uses that phone. It is a great idea, just not perfectly executed yet. Save your money. This is a piece of junk and the manufacturer has recognized that as the price has dropped from $130 down to under $50 in a matter of months. I purchased this new for $20 and I still dont think it was worth that price. | 2009-08-20 Awesome little printer It doesn't require any ink just paper. You can print from your phone and anything else via bluetooth. However, it doesn't work with everyones phone, so make sure it is capatable first. The printer quality is decent, depending what you are printing from. I.e. printing from my camera is better than my phone. The only downside i have found is that paper is expensive, but most photo printer paper is. You don't need any ink. | |
