this camera is the worst kodak out there
im a kodak fan and had lots of kodaks and this one is really bad.
bad quality
always out of focus. i very dissapointed on this camera also its very expensive for a kodak.
i return and got the fuji f70 much nicer than this one.

needs just a few more minor features to make it a no-brainer choice
For a camera that offers PASM manual modes, it also needs manual focus for macro shooting, and pre-focusing on an area to capture fast action (like a skateboarder coming in and out of frame quickly). Also needed are custom white balance, variable JPG compression levels. and manual flash levels to optically trigger off-camera flashes. Kodak makes good value cameras, but it's these minor features that are lacking and come standard in competitors cameras that break the deal for me.

Love this camera
I love Kodak Easy Share Cameras. This is my 5th one. I gave two of them to my children who also love them. I love getting the newest models. I have not found a point and shoot that I like better and I have tried several other brand name cameras.

Excellent megazoom in a small package
So far I have to say we (my wife and I) are impressed with the camera. The photos so far are relatively sharp (increasing the sharpness in P mode helps even more) and the colors are great. The ergonomics of the camera are well thought out and the build quality is solid.

Having used small Kodak Cameras for the last few years (v550, v705 & m1033) this is a larger camera. That said, I think that the 10x Zoom will be a nice feature and make the size increase over the pocket cameras worth it.

Shot to Shot performance is a bit on the sluggish side, but not too big of a deal. Shutter lag is very quick and is helpful for catching quick photos since we have a little baby that moves around a lot!

It would have been nice to make the camera Dock compatible, but we can live with plugging it into the iMac with the USB to transfer photos and charge the battery.
Overall I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars (not 5 stars due to the speed between photos and time to clear the buffer when shooting continuously).

I would definitely recommend this camera!

Great camara for a good price...:)
I was going to buy the Kodak easyshare Z1015 IS (10 megapixels-15 optical zoom) because it has great reviews, more optical zoom and same price but after comparing the features and specifications of both, pretty much the Z950 has the same things but is not as big as the other one and it has more megapixels-12. It is also newer and looks great too. I took the risk, because I only found 1 review and it was 5stars. I bought it online and I received it on friday and I love the zoom it has and the picture quality. I agree with the thing commented before about the instructions it comes with, they are not so detail but the camara itself is easy to manage and use.

Kodak Cameras History

The history of Kodak dates back to the 19th century, the very beginning of the photographic era.

In late 1870th George Eastman, a junior clerk in the Savings Bank in Rochester, USA, was going to set up for a journey and take some images during it but faced great difficulties of carrying all the necessary things – the camera & chemicals – with him. From that moment he got obsessed with the idea of making photography accessible to masses.

kodak 3A

The following years he was trying to invent what we all know as a photographic film. In comparison with plates rolls were easy to deal with and suitable for mass production and hence for nonexpert photography. In 1888 the world’s first film camera was unveiled - already under the Kodak brand. The name Kodak was also Eastman’s invention, whose favourite letter in the alphabet was “K.”

The slogan of Eastman Kodak Company was “You press the button, we do the rest.” So the next important innovation of them was photo printing service – users could simply send completed rolls of firm to the company, and receive ready-make images. This principle of having your photos printed at minilabs has been working up to now.

Kodak Zx1 HD Video Recorder

Since its introduction at this year's CES, the 3-megapixel portable HD video recorder from Kodak, the Kodak Zx1 has been given much attention from the tech world. The 2.0 inch display is a bit smaller than the LCD you'll find on it’s predecessor, the Zi6. The screen is large enough for video capture and quick review. But the LCD is difficult to view in bright sunlight. The 1.6 megapixel CMOS sensor at the heart of the Zx1 captures crisp, detailed videos at its highest quality settings. ...
