Excellent, Inexpensive Battery Charger
I bought this because my Kodak camera was draining every other battery I put in it after taking two pictures. This charger and battery are less expensive than the Kodak version and work very well. Easy to use and the batteries keep their charge for multiple pictures and videos.

Necessity for amateur photographers
This has really made life easier. We can really go through batteries with the amount of pictures we take. I don't know about the durability yet but it seems like it will be good unless abused. We use it mostly overnight or when not at home, so I don't know how long the batteries take to charge, either. All I know is that having two batteries fully charged is GREAT and we don't have to run out to buy more. Using Kodak Z1485 camera.

Very frustrating
A slight variation to the old nursery rhyme, "When it is good, it is very, very good, and when it is bad it is horrid" is a perfect description of this charger. The contacts for the battery are very loose, and it's not possible to tell if the battery is actually charging. A bummer if you expect that it HAS charged, and venture out to discover that it hasn't. Another reviewer suggested that using the charger horizontally instead of vertically was helpful in assuring that the contacts would work, and I'll try that. When the charging DOES work, I can take dozens of photos - but I've learned to keep non-chargeable batteries with me as back-up.

Waste of money!
The charger doesn't work. First all you cant tell if the item is in fact charging the battery. And then when you test the battery after hours of charging it has no juice. It does not come with instructions (not that you would think you need them but since it doesn't work any help would be great)or a return label, so I can't even return it. A definite disappointment and waste of money!!!

total disaster
It didnt work getting help from the supplier was impossible. I will always go with a brand name from now on.
