Customers Reviews 2009-11-21 great product i love it. I take a lot of pictures all the time!
its just fun to print out pictures instantly! | 2009-11-20 not too bad!! hi there,
I sent an email to AMAZON and ask them to confirm that they will not send me an expired date paper with the POGO, however they send me expired papers for print!!! i received the pogo in November and the papers expired on November, so in few words AMAZON did not keep there promise/confirmation and i have their email till date for their reference if they want to do some thing. What a shame!
The quality of the print is too poor, i read the reviews before buying and it was mentioned the quality is poor but i was thinking they are exaggerating, i was wrong, the quality is really poor!
But to be fare with POGO, it is so cute and my friends were amazed of the size and the Bluetooth option
The charger is too big!! Bigger than the POGO it self, i think it is stupid!
If you have enough money and want have some fun buy it, if you dont have extra money then don't buy it
The papers are too expensive!!!!!!! they should reduce the price of the photo papers and make its expiry date longer, at least for 3-6 months
Thanx
| 2009-11-16 we like it! I bought this for my husband as a surprise. He loved it even though he cannot send pix straight from his new cell to the mini printer. He has figured out a way to accomplish the task by sending pix to his PDA then to the printer. I, on the other hand, can send pictures I take with my cell (different brand) to the printer. So, you should check and make sure your phone is compatible ahead of time. I couldn't because my husband was in the process of choosing a new phone. The pictures the mobile printer produces are small, but turn out quite well. It has turned out to be alot of fun to bring along when visiting friends. The photo's have a self sticking adhesive back, which can come in very handy for decorative purposes. Our granddaughter attached a picture to a 2nd grade story she was writing! The paper for the printer isn't cheap, which limits our usage a bit. But all in all we are quite pleased with the printer. I would buy it again! | 2009-11-16 Fun printer, but not as good as a real polaroid print Its a cute and printer. Just the size of my portable HDD. But hope the print quality can be better.
One sad point, not matter how hard i try the streaks dont go off.. Sigh. |  2009-11-12 Nice concept ruined by enormous charger and weak battery life. Polaroid Pogo with its ugly charger;
I wanted one so I could print these small self adhesive images for my Moleskin journal travel log. Also when going on our next exotic trip to be able to give a native person a picture while taking pictures of them. As an exchange for their permission to take their picture without giving money.
To my dismay I found that this handy pocket size printer comes with a proprietary (9Volt 3 Amps!) charger that is multiple times bigger than the device itself. This is a mayor drawback for the intended use of Pogo Zink Printer.
An other severe drawback is the battery life. According to the specifications it should be able to print 15 images witch I have not been able to archive. After an overnight charge it prints 5 images at best. And the battery drains itself after 3 day's.
Contacting Polaroid turned out to be a big disapointment. Since I did not bought the device from an autorized reseller (Bought it brandnew in sealed box through Ebay) they deny service.
When asking about what would happen if I had bought this Pogo Printer from a an autorised reseller (if you can find one...) they want you to return the entire unit back through the sales channel.
Guess I end up sourcing the internet for replacement battery's from any brand bud Polaroid.
Oh yes the print quality....
Let say the images have a "creative" look. | |

Polaroid Cameras HistoryPolaroid Corporation is most famous for its instant film cameras. It was founded in 1937 by Edwin H. Land.

The company's original dominant market was in polarized sunglasses.
Instant photography was introduced with the Polaroid Model 95 camera and Type 40 film at the presentation to The Optical Society in New York City on February 21st, 1947. Polaroid Instant Cameras reached the retail stores in 1948. They were a success as well as later models; and by the early 60th Polaroid expanded to Canada and Europe offering to public not only cameras, but film rolls (both black & white and color (since 1963)).
In 1972 Polaroid made a revolution in photography launching a “magic camera.” The SX-70 appeared to be a true SLR that folds flat and produces photographs instantly. Autofocus technology comes a little bit later with the SX-70 Sonar OneStep and the Pronto! Sonar OneStep cameras.
In 1986 Polaroid defeated Kodak in a patent battle and forced Kodak to leav... More About Polaroid Cameras |
