Customers Reviews 2009-10-13 Exactly as specified, shipped as promised. This is a ring that lets me use Nikon lenses on Olympus digital SLR cameras. It fits well and it works. It was inexpensive and shipping was very reasonable. I like the look of my Old 50mm 1.1.2 lens on the small format. It becomes a really nice portrait lens. What else can I say? | 2009-06-09 Fotodiox Nikon F - Olympus 4/3 Adapter The product was shipped very quickly, but after opening it I was a little concerned about how it was packaged. The adapter itself works great, I have a Nikon 80-200 2.8 AF lens and now the adapter lets me use it on my Olympus E-500. I just shoot in apeture priority mode and the exposure comes out fine. Great product! | 2009-05-27 Needs a steady tripod for zoom lens in live view. This product is good if you have a good eye for manual focus and your subject is not going anywhere. I have a Soligor 100mm to 300mm lens for Nikon F mount and it works well. Bewared very steady tripod needed for long zoom and manual operation. I use it on me E510 with no problem just add the focal length of the lens for the Image stabilization and you can use it in shutter priority, aperture priority does not work as clamed. You can use the aperture on the lens but need to adjust shutter speed; trial and error time is needed. Here are two photos of proof. This yellow house is about ¾ mile away from my home on a lower hill. First shot with my Soligor Nikon F mount 100- 300mm f/5-22 at 300mm f/11, equivalent to 600mm on 4/3. Second shot with 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5 Olympus Zuiko lens auto focus at f/14 ,150mm = 300mm on 4/3. Not bad I am happy with this, now for the time with the great outdoors. | |

Panasonic Cameras HistoryPanasonic Corporation (formerly known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.) is a multinational corporation based in Kadoma, Japan.
Panasonic was founded in 1918 by Konosuke Matsushita. The company was first selling duplex lamp sockets.
In 1931 began the production of radios. But earlier, in 1927, it produced a bicycle lamp, and it was their first product marketed under the brand name National – meaning for people, for nation. The production of road and touring bicycles and their components composed a substantial portion of the goods manufactured by National/Panasonic Corporation from 1945 through the end of the 1980s.
In 1955, the company labeled its export audio speakers "PanaSonic", which was the first time it used its "Panasonic" brand name. This name was created from the elements "pan" meaning "all" combined with "sonic" meaning "sound”.
After Konosuke Matsushita traveled to the United States in 1961, Panasonic began producing television sets for the U.S. market under the Panasonic brand name, and expanded the use of the brand to Europe in 1979. The company began opening its plants around the world. It quickly developed a reputation for its reliable products - televisions, radios, and home appliances.
