Customers Reviews 2009-01-07 Beyond our expectations! A photogorapher for 45 years, I've taken a lot of pictures. For the first time, I'm comfortable with a tiny camera in my pocket, confident it will automatically do a good job in any reasonable lighting condition.
No excuses, it takes great pictures just as our two Cannon Sure Shots did 25 years ago! This camera provides Waaaay more flexibility than I'm interested in using in my old age.
For Christmas, we took some snap shots and hooked it up to the TV and enjoyed a slide show for the first time...Priceless to watch the grand kids on that day!
Great color balance, automatic focus, flash, and on and on go the features we use every time we turn it on. I bought the camera for its larger LCD so my good wife (with poor vision) can see to use it, that is a big thing for us.
No regrets, its a keeper. :) | 2009-01-07 Canon PowerShot SD770 I bought this Camera as a Christmas Gift for my Daughter.
Small, lightweight and easy to use, she loves it!
I love the fact that I get more photos of my Grandsons!
| 2009-01-07 Good camera I have have been using the camera for over a month mostly in closed places like clubs. Over 95% of the pictures come out very good. The only thing I have against this camera is the red eye. Even though it is set to fix it it self it doesn't. I have to manually change it myself. | 2009-01-07 Amazing picture quality and such a great deal! I LOVE this camera! The image stabilization works wonders, and I am even able to get a clear image in low light without the flash on. I am really impressed with the quality of my images in a dark restaurant. The color comes out looking vibrant, people's faces aren't washed out, and this is hands down the best digital camera I've owned yet.
The closeup feature is amazing too. Closeups come out crystal clear, and the color is perfect. You have to know a little about camera functions to get a truly amazing image in close up, but after a few tries it comes out great. I also love using the camera for landscape images. My old Olympus required me to change settings to take good landscape images, but not with this camera. You just remove the flash and go.
I really love how you don't have to mess with a million buttons to take a good image with this camera. That's why I give this camera 5 stars, for easy use combined with quality photos.
Great camera, at an amazing price ANYONE can take good picture with. | 2009-01-06 Great point and shoot The Canon SD770IS delivers as advertised and for the price can't be beat. It takes a while to learn all the features but well worth time. Highly recommend. | |

Digital Camera Reviews: Canon PowerShots SD600, SD630, SD700 ISHello! Today we continue with our Canon digital cameras reviews. But in this post we will dwell on another series: Canon PowerShot SD. If you are not against, we will act on our old worked-out scheme, i.e. compare several cameras of the same series but of different level of production, I mean features and capabilities. We will distinguish between their similarities and differences and note this down in 2 tables.
(But if you have any objections, advice or wishes, you are welcome with them any time! I’ll be extremely happy to read and to take them in consideration, as well as try to fulfill.)
And today we are going to have a look at Canon PowerShot SD 600, SD630 and SD700 IS that will be available in April 2006. To be more exact, now we’ll delimit their properties and next time we’ll discuss their features, all the pros and cons in a more detailed way.
