Top 9 Mini Digital Cameras Digital photography appeared in our life only ten years ago, but the industry develops so fast, that today there is a furious competition among digital camera manufacturers. To survive at the market, digital photography makers have to invent unique tools to appeal to their potential customers and make their products faster, cheaper and smaller. Their goal is to put a fully-fledged digital camera in a tiny, sleek body. And some do really succeed.
Although modern Mini Digital Cameras still can’t promise you immaculate image quality, many of them produce competent shots and offer a relatively good feature set. Besides, we should remember that originally they mini cameras were invented (and are still used) as a spy and surveillance equipment. These cameras are not just housed in a micro-body, but they can be hidden in everyday articles like wrist watches. I came across some interesting Mini Digital Cameras and here goes a list of TOP NINE Mini Digital Cameras.

It offers a stopwatch, a monthly calendar, five alarms, a 12- or 24-hour display, and a countdown timer. Its camera features include a 2- or 10-second self-timer, a 2X digital zoom, 1MB of memory and USB wireless infrared interface. It captures 1,000 QCIF-resolution (176-by-144 or quarter-VGA) images. This toy will cost you about $200.
- Panasonic SV-AV10 e-wear. With the dimensions of 1.1 x 2.0 x 3.4 inches, the Panasonic SV-AV10 e-wear is the world's smallest digital camcorder. It can record and play VGA stills, MPEG-4 video, and MP3 audio. It features a high-resolution, articulated, and rotatable 2-inch LCD viewfinder, a removable 64MB SD memory card and a rechargeable lithium ion battery. This mini gadget will cost you $130.
BenQ 300mini. This cute, colorful camera offers a real dud of a viewfinder, 8MB of internal memory and can record up to 107 VGA images or 30 seconds of 5-fps video, a relatively fast f2.8 lens and an electronic shutter with speeds from 1/6 to a remarkable 1/100,000 of a second. It measures 3.3 x 1.6 x 0.75 inches and gets power from one triple-A battery. The retail price is $80.

It incorporates 8MB of built-in memory, enough to record 26 640-by-480 stills or 1 minute 44 seconds of video. It captures VGA shots and QVGA (Quarter VGA, or 160-by-120 resolution) images at the rate of about 5 per second. The Nedio retails at $70.
- SiPix StyleCam Blink. This tiny device measures 2.16 x 2.16 x 0.50 inches, offers 8MB of internal memory, doubles as a Webcam and records up to 100 VGA (640-by-480) or 400 CIF (320-by-240) images.
