GREAT little projector
This projector is so easy to carry and use, it's astonishing that they aren't making it any more . . . and there are no competitors that I can find. I never liked the hassle of connecting a PC to a projector and then hoping that my presentation would work . . . especially if I was using someone else's PC or projector. This little 2 1/2 pound gem solves that problem by eliminating the need for a PC entirely. Just save your Powerpoint presentation as JPGs of the slides (a simple process in Powerpoint), put them on a thumb drive, and you're set to go. Of course, you don't get sound or video, but for my simple presentations, that's not needed (although it would be simple to use a netbook to drive the projector and get sound and motion. But the way I use it, it's just the less than 3 pound projector and one thumb drive, and I'm ready. I say again: WHY AREN'T THERE MORE PROJECTORS LIKE THIS??

Rip Off!
The projection produced by this unit is sharp and bright...amazing.
Unfortunately Toshiba gives you a lousy three months (90 days)warranty on the bulb. I used it for two seminars only in that time (probably typical of many casual users). The bulb failed within four months.
Unless you want to spend $1200 per year in bulb replacements, forget Toshiba altogether!

Toshiba TDP-PX10U Mobile Projector
I bought a TDP-PX10U data projector and I have not used it until recently. The projector is very light and compact. It is also easy to use. However, I am extremely disappointed with the level of noise that emits from this projector when it is turned on. I am using it to teach my classes and the noise level is so high it is not useful. It sounds like 'a motor boat' when it is turned on and the noise continues until it is turned off. I believe I bought a lemon. Toshiba TDP-PX10U 2,200 ANSI Lumens Ultra Portable Projector

Really Nice
This projector works very well with my mac. Other then needing an adapter to hook it up to the mac it worked seamlessly and immediately. It is a bit loud as far as the fan sound but in a room where there is talking or having some other sounds in the room from a lecture (for instance) that would cover that up. Generally I a very pleased with it. I would recommend this projector to anyone who needed a portable projector.

Amazing mobile projector
I have been using this for the past 3 months. Watched 100 hours of movies. My kid enjoys watching his favourite animation movies.

Pros
1. Good picture quality (brightness, contrast and colors)
2. DLP is a durable technology compared to LCD
3. Portable and Light weight.
4. Supports 1080i resolution
5. You get a free Lamp ($320 value) from Toshiba
Cons
1. Fan noise is a bit loud.
2. Shutdown time is high (2 min)

It is a steal at this price. Esp with a $320 free lamp. You can watch 4000 hours of picture with 2 lamps.

I definitely recommend this unless you want to go for a 3 DLP projector with a HDMI input.
