Customers Reviews 2008-12-29 Good player Very good player 4 gig. Good for music and pics not good for video or movie. | 2008-12-25 Excelent product!! I have had this player for about 2-1/2 weeks.
The Samsung T10 mp3 player with bluetooth is excellent. I am very satisfied with it! Audio quality is great with the included earbuds! Easy menu navigation. Great video and picture! I purchased a Plantronics bluetooth stereo headset (Model# VOYAGER-855) to go with it, because I wanted to use use it while driving in my work truck and I figured I shouldn't have both ears plugged while driving. The Plantronics headset allows you to use only 1 earpiece while still utilizing the stereo format of bluetooth communication. The Samsung T10 will not work with mono bluetooth earpieces. It requires stereo bluetooth to be able to use the bluetooth for listening. It will also link up with phones that utilize bluetooth for transferring files. It syncs very well using Windows Media Player.
The only downside I can think of at the moment is only 4GB of memory. But I knew that when I bought it.
Overall it is an excellent product and I would recomend it to anyone. | 2008-12-17 Samsung Software Sucks Fine hardware! Performs flawlessly, slim and light, solidly built. I did upgrade the earphones, though the standard phones are fine.
BUT Samsung Media Studio REALLY SUCKS!!! I have never been able to get it to work at all. I have to load music using Windows Media Player and/or Itunes. Did I get a defective copy of Samsung Media Studio or is it just a worthless program? Let me know, T10 users. | 2008-12-16 great player I'm a huge fan of samsung's products, and this is a great one. I upgraded from the YP-T8 for more space. This is still a bit small these days at 4GB but great for the price. Good size to carry music and video in your pocket without being bulky. The media studio software makes conversion for video pretty painless, and bluetooth eases file transfer. There are a few display options (background, font, album cover). It'd be nice to change the dog at the startup, but that's not that big a deal. The mic recording and radio are great bonuses as well. I'd recommend it to someone who doesn't need to carry their entire catalog that you can just have in your pocket day to day. | 2008-11-23 Great MP3 player! This is a really awesome MP3 player. Met all my expectations. Great buy! Can't even tell it's refurbished. | |

Samsung SCH-B500 - a Breakthrough Camera PhoneHiya! As I’ve promised this post is going to be about camera phones! Great, isn’t it?:) Here we’ll debate their efficiency and usability as photocameras.
I’d dare to say that among a range of all camera phones currently in existence we can distinguish several generations. They differ in their functionality, capacity and workability: in the amount of megapixels, memory storage and type of a zoom.
It won’t come as a surprise to you if I conclude that all the above-mentioned parameters of these “magic” cell phones influence:
- first, resolution (or quality) of their shots
- and, second, their price.
Quite naturally, both of these factors can be viewed either as their attractions or as their drawbacks. I’m sure, you are sober enough to guess that
- pluses are when resolution is high and when price is low
- and minuses are when everything is the other way round.
Unfortunately, for the moment there’s no such a camera phone that will combine both the pluses:(( And even more… Until recently there haven’t been one with such an advantage as good resolution!..
Why until recently? That’s easy! Simply because only on January 30 this year the electronics giant Samsung has announced their revolutionary phone featuring a 7.7 megapixel digital camera with 3x optical zoom (!!Note, that all camera phones have digital zoom!!) - Samsung SCH-B500. Moreover, it has a Transflash card slot enough to store high resolution pictures! Besides, its large display functions in a landscape mode, so you can take pictures like using a real digital camera.
But I won’t say a word about this camera’s DMB TV reception, TV-output and MP3 audio playback (all packed in a 18.5 mm body)… as it’s not our domainJ))
Well… My resume:
Normally, camera phones have outdated features if compared to modern digital cameras. But this is not the case with Samsung SCH B500! It resembles more a camera than a mobile phone. Both, in its looks and… its most probable sky-high price:( which is still unknown, but as I see it, will reach the price of an excellent professional digital camera…
So it’s up to you to decide how to spend the same amount of money: on a phone with poor camera or rather on a jolly good amateurish photocamera…
