Customers Reviews 2008-10-10 Top picture, few features This digital frame, of which I ordered 120 as corporate gift, may not have a lot of built-in memory (but you will find that buying one GB for less than $10 makes up for that - you would to that with any frame with built in 128 MB anyway) has the best high resolution picture and aspect-ratio for digital pictures that I have come across. The only slight negative is that it doesn't have a built-in battery, so if you use the clock and take it off power, you will have to reset it afterwards. | 2008-10-04 great great great! well, you can find a much larger frame in a much cheaper price, but you cant beat the Philips quality.
Cristal clear picture and a classic frame design makes it a winning choice.
cons: the interface is not very intuitive (and i know my way around gadgets..) | 2008-09-08 Great picture clarity! The digital picture frame is great but you need to have a card reader/writer to put more than 16 pictures on it. Once you have that it is just a matter of copying pictures to the card reader in your USB port. Picture quality is great and the instructions are not so difficult.
One complaint is that the stand is so heavy that it falls off the picture frame when you pick up the frame - could be better designed in that area. We are going to super glue it to the frame to solve that problem. | 2008-08-28 Pictures look Great I'm quite happy with the frame. The price was good, it is relatively easy to use, and (most importantly) the pictures look GREAT.
The documentation is a little sparse and I'm not sure the "Play in sequence" option functions properly. Also, if there is a way to create separate albums to switch between I couldn't figure out how to access it.
After a good deal of searching I'm pretty sure this was the best deal out there for quality vs. price.
DW | 2008-08-08 Delivers where it counts I was looking for a digital photo frame that had a crisp, clear, and high resolution; vibrant color; and excellent contrast, while staying under $100 (possibly refurbished). I've been disappointed with most digital photo frames that I've seen, which tend to have muddy, distorted color and ugly pixelation. Taking all of those points into consideration, this digital photo frame delivers where it counts. I was really surprised to find that the image quality of this frame's lcd rivals that of my computer monitor - no joke. If image quality is what matters to you most, I'd definitely recommend this baby.
