Customers Reviews 2009-11-13 Classic Excellent photo album. Classy cover and easy in pockets.ONly dissapointment was I thought it had a 3 inch binder to match the others I have otherwise I am happy to have bought this one. | 2009-10-12 Nice albums This is a nice album because it lets you put 6 pictures on each side of a page, unlike most other albums. The post bindings also seem sturdier than the usual 3-rings. I would definitely recommend buying several refills per album though, because they don't come with many pages initially. Overall, I think this is the nicest photo album I have been able to find. | 2009-08-30 Cheaper to buy more albums than refills This is my favorite photo album because it hold 6 pictures per page (per side) which means you can look at 12 pictures at once. This is nice if you are showing someone your pictures, because they can go through them pretty quickly if they are not that interested, or slowly if they are. The memo line is just the right size to add comments and nicely position above the picture. The album also looks attractive on the shelf. When loaded, these albums are flat, which makes them more space efficient on a bookshelf (rather than some albums that have big internal binding rings that make album overall triangular shaped, and difficult to store side by side on a shelf.
Importantly, note that the photo refill pages come in packs of 5 sheets for 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of the entire album, whereas the albums contain 25 sheets (x12=300 pics). Thus, it's much more cost effective to buy 2 albums and combine them. Note that it is possible to have almost 50 pages in one album without the need for the extender posts and spacers included with the refill pages. If you want very thick albums (rather than just more albums) you may want to consider buying one photo refill with extender posts for every 3 albums to create large album with 80 pages. That's 3 x 12 dollars (for 3 albums) plus 5 dollars (for refill) = 41 dollars for one super thick (80 page) album, versus paying 1 x 12 dollars (for 1 album) plus 11 x 5 dollars (for 11 refills) = 67 dollars for 80 page album.
The only thing I don't like about this kind of album is that you have to take it apart if you find some additional pictures that you forgot (versus albums with easy open binders). With that said, I'd rather the hastle of opening it all up (3 screws) and the above features than having the quick open binder style. (my wife disagrees)
| 2009-08-04 great product I was very pleased when I received this photo album. It is large so pay attention to the dimensions if size is a factor when looking for photo albums. I love the fact that it is expandable...I will definitely be purchasing another in the future. | 2009-04-14 Good Good photo album, the one thing i would say about it, buy two refill packs with it. When ya first look at you'll think its way too skinny. Other then that im pretty happy with this purchase. | |
