Customers Reviews 2010-02-17 Sony NP-fh 50 battery charger I was very disappointed with this charger. When you use it in a wall socket, the battery falls out of the
case holder. It does NOT hold it in place. I must put it on the floor using a power surge so it can lay flat.
I would NOT recommend this. Save your money.
| 2010-02-08 Great little camcorder Very satisfied with this camcorder, great performer for the price. I wanted something for just simple home videos, but wanted HD. Simple to use, and its small size makes it easy to carry. I was surprised at how small it is, and if I have one complaint it's the size. Only because my hand is large and it's awkward to press the record button due to the small size. Low light videos are so so, and I've come to the realization that recording SD instead of HD for indoor recordings produces close to the same quality.
Battery life appears to be good, and just the internal memory is enough for most home video recordings.
Definitely a good camera for the money. | 2010-01-30 no brainer just buy it. it works in the car and the wall and it works on Sony batteries as well as knock-offs.
maybe the best deal i have had in a while. | 2010-01-18 Does what it's supposed to! Bought as a travel charger for the DCR-SR47 camcorder with the NPFH50 battery. Haven't used the DC car adapter just the AC wall charger. Worked perfectly! I didn't keep track of the charge time, just left it charging overnight. Woke up and it was fully charged. Overall it's a simple yet very good product. | 2009-12-04 wow This is a serious piece of crap. Don't buy it. I currently have three rubber bands around it, a broken external hard drive and a book on top of it to make it touch the contacts to charge. We'll see if that even works. | |

Sony Cameras HistorySONY Corporation is a multinational corporation with headquarters in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. It is one of the leading manufacturers of electronics, video, communications, video game consoles and information technology products. The very name “Sony” is derived from sonus, the Latin word for sound.
The history of SONY Corporation dates back to the spring of 1946 when an entrepreneur Akio Morita and a promising young engineer Masaru Ibuka opened a modest radio engineering workshop in Tokyo. At that times markets were not abound in technological products; that’s why they were free to develop any direction in electronics. So, as soon as in 1951 Tokyo Telecommunications Engineering Corporation have launched Japan's first tape recorder called the Type-G.
The invention of transistor opened new horizons in the world of electronics. In 1957 Telecommunications Engineering Corporation came out with a transistor radio. Though being not the first to do this, it was SONY to make radios commercially successful for the first time. Their serial production was already under the brand SONY, so both the product and the brand won worldwide recognition.
By the 70-s SONY Corporation have become the world’s biggest audio and video equipment manufacturer. In I964 they produced first desk calculator. In 1968 ... More About Sony Cameras |
