2009-11-14 Works great on a belt I used it for a Nikon D90 with the 18-105mm kit lens installed. At first the case seemed to be too small, but once I adjusted the velcro straps it fit perfectly. It holds the camera snugly and has plenty of padding. It comes with a detachable shoulder strap but I prefer to attach it to a belt. On a belt it seems heavy and awkward at first, but I quickly got used to it. I just returned from a 2 week vacation where I used the holster on the belt everyday and found it very convenient. |
2009-11-09 Excellent light-weight option This is a great bag for someone who wants to carry just the camera with them. It protects the camera well, and is very easy to handle. |
2009-11-01 Fits my D90 This holster case fits my D90 with the 18-105 kit lens. It's snug, but I like it that way. I have since also gotten the 70-300 lens and when mounted on my D90, it too fits in the case. I'm completely satisfied with the case (and don't understand why others have said their D90's don't fit in it). |
2009-10-07 Not big enough for a D300 The case's length is fine for my lens (which most people seem concerned about) but the body of a Nikon D300 barely squeezes it. And I do mean barely. I would try another case if you have a D300. |
2009-10-02 nice travel case for DSLR I have it for almost a year now. It is compact and fits easily on my D-90 with the 18-105 lens + hood on it.
PROS:
1) Easy to put the camera in and take it out
2) Easy and very compact to carry
3) Fits D-90 + 18-105 lens + hood
4) Some space for keeping the cleaning cloth
CONS:
1) Cant keep anything else.
But this is meant for travel and easy access I think and best suits the purpose. |
