Customers Reviews 2010-03-16 Perfect for my needs - fits a D5000 + Nikon 18-200mm snugly I wanted a small, compact camera bag that I could easily fit inside a larger non-camera-dedicated bag like a backpack. I was a little concerned this Lowepro would be too small for my D5000 with an 18-200mm lens, but it fits just about perfectly (albeit snugly, which is fine with me). This is perfect for me - it fits just the camera and lens (with an attached Hoya HMC filter), and if I want extra accessories I simply store them in the backpack that this bag resides in (a blue force gear small DAP pack). Alternatively, I can carry the D5000 in the Lowepro with the smaller 35mm lens attached, which leaves a bit more room for accessories.
Don't pay any attention to the reviews complaining that this bag is too small or doesn't offer up enough pocket space - those people simply ordered the wrong product for their needs. If you want a bigger bag and more pocket space, buy a bigger bag (there are plenty to choose from). Personally, I was relieved to find this compact, simple no-frills solution as many of the camera bags out there are too big for my needs. If I'm going to carry a larger bag or backpack on me, it's going to be a multipurpose bag that also holds my other gear, not a dedicated camera bag that screams "$2000 worth of camera equipment in here" to every street urchin within sight. | 2010-02-15 Canon 5D + 16-35 Zoom -- TOO SMALL Nice bag, but it wouldn't fit my camera attached to neither my 16-35 wide angle or my 35-105 zoom. The description sort of implies it will, but not quite. Bummer is, I have to send it back and pay for shipping. Might end up just hanging onto it for something else unless the distributor will cover the shipping. | 2010-02-08 Very portable It fits my Canon 50D with a EF28-135 IS lens and the shoulder strap. Of course you can't fit much more inside, but I found this as the most portable bag for this camera. | 2010-02-05 Lowepro Lens Case 1 I bought this case for my Canon 55-250 IS lens. The lens fits perfectly. The bag is well padded. There is a velcro loop to attach this to a belt. I would have preferred a loop that was stitched, but the velcro seems to be really strong, so I'm not concerned about it falling off. | 2010-01-20 perfect for d80 with 18-135mm lens This is perfect for nikon d80 with 18-135mm lens. Extra packet on top is helpful to keep SD card / wireless remote. | |
