Customers Reviews 2008-11-23 Easy To Carry Along; Works Well Bought this to carry along with my Dell Mini 9 8.9" netbook. Perfect size for that and works great. Doesn't add any noticable weight to the 2 pounds I am already carrying. | 2008-11-22 Bluetooth mouse The microsoft bluetooth notebook mouse 5000 has worked great since I recieved it. Have not had any problems with it disconnecting. Works great and I would recommend it. | 2008-11-20 Mac Compatibility Issues When using this mouse with the latest version of OSX on an Aluminum iMac, the cursor behaved erratically especially when using iPhoto. An example of this is when manually correcting red eye, the circle cursor would not always appear. Guess I will have to go with the wireless Mighty Mouse. | 2008-11-19 Bluetooth Mouse I received this item fast and in great condition from Amazon.com. I hooked it up and it works flawlessly. It is everything that I was looking for and more. I was so very happy to have found it at such a low price after shopping around, and getting free shipping to boot! Thanks so much Amazon.com. | 2008-11-19 Almost perfect mouse I like this mouse because it is a [good] Bluetooth notebook mouse, which are few and far between. It's small size makes it convenient to transport with my laptop, which is important for those who are always moving. And being that it's a laser mouse, it works flawlessly on many surfaces, including my carpet and even my lap, which adds to the on-the-go convenience this device offers.
Since it's Bluetooth and my notbook has Bluetooth connectivity, there is nothing to attach to the notbook itself, such as a USB adapter that would be required of other types of wireless devices. The Bluetooth communication also works at great distances from the computer, such as across the room, which allows for remote-like usage when doing things such as listening to music or watching a movie.
A few flaws that I've encountered with this purchase would not have stopped me from buying it had I known about them beforehand. First, the wheel is not as fluent as I'd like, which is only a very small annoyance. Second, the third button on the left side was easy to accidently press with my thumb, acting as a 'back' button when navigating websites. Although this was annoying at first, I was able to slightly adapt the way I hold the mouse and it is rarely an issue anymore.
Considering the price, size, and ease of use, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a simple and portable Bluetooth solution. | |

Microsoft Windows XP Pictures Organizing: Vista Microsoft Windows XP doesn't offer much in the way of built-in tools for organizing your collection of digital and scanned photographs. Sure, you can launch the anemic Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and page through your images--but if you want to edit one of them, you're dropped unceremoniously into Windows Paint. There's no way to tag or caption your images so you can easily find them later, and watching a slide show in Win XP isn't much more engaging than turning the pages in a photo album.
Considering the hugely growing popularity of digital imaging, I'd say it's a good thing that Windows Vista manages to make the experience more appealing from start to finish. When I plugged in a digital camera, Vista seamlessly installed the drivers and asked if I wanted to apply a tag to all the images I was downloading. It also offered to rotate automatically any pictures that it thought were taken in a vertical rather than horizontal orientation. Moments later, Vista launched the Windows Photo Gallery application so that I could view and organize all my photos.
