Customers Reviews 2008-09-27 Excellent! This flash is an excellent product from Canon. I used it for some wedding photography and the results were amazing! I was able to take photos from across the room with excellent results. | 2008-09-24 works like a dream Love it, love it, love it!!!
I don't know much about using a flash, but I read some directions, set it to ETTL and took some photos. The exposure was spot on, and the skin tones were just perfect!!! I'm quite hooked on how well this works with my Canon 10D and highly recommend it to others who need a new flash attachment. This one is slick! | 2008-09-18 Excellent Flash- but get MAHA battery/chagr and a frame This is a great flash for the xti. Use it instead of the on board flash, because it will add dimension to you photos.
At parties, or weddings, use it with a frame.
I use maha rechargeable batteries with this flash, and It has not failed to provide great photos.
The only thing that I would improve would be to give it a optical slave response, that way the on board flash can be used to trigger the main flash. Alas, no luck. Glad it has remote cable trigger though, for studio work.
Over all, I am pleased with this flash. When Canon comes out with an update, I'll gather up a few more of the ex2's. | 2008-09-07 Canon quality The 580 EX is a great product! Easy to use and gives great results. if you are thinking about getting one, do it! You won't be sorry. | 2008-08-29 Permanent Accessory to my camera! This flash is incredible! I pair it with a Gary Fong LightSphere & it is the most natural 'artificial light' you could ever wish for without the hassle of studio lighting! You can basically mount it and turn it on, producing wonderful results... But with a little homework to learn the many features available on this flash, you can create wonderful lighting effects! Worth the investment! | |

Digital Camera Reviews: Canon PowerShots SD600, SD630, SD700 ISHello! Today we continue with our Canon digital cameras reviews. But in this post we will dwell on another series: Canon PowerShot SD. If you are not against, we will act on our old worked-out scheme, i.e. compare several cameras of the same series but of different level of production, I mean features and capabilities. We will distinguish between their similarities and differences and note this down in 2 tables.
(But if you have any objections, advice or wishes, you are welcome with them any time! I’ll be extremely happy to read and to take them in consideration, as well as try to fulfill.)
And today we are going to have a look at Canon PowerShot SD 600, SD630 and SD700 IS that will be available in April 2006. To be more exact, now we’ll delimit their properties and next time we’ll discuss their features, all the pros and cons in a more detailed way.
