Customers Reviews 2008-09-02 Good product, fair price I always carry my camera everywhere (Stylus 1030 SW). And this case is ideal for me. Why?
Because is simple, useful and ideal for my purse. It protects my camera without being a heavy burden.
If you only want to protect your camera, you love simplicity, hate carrying heavy and big cases and, you are not planning to carry accessories but only memory cards; this case is for you. It could seem fragile but the material is made of, is very resistant and will protect your camera efficiently.
In a sentence: You won't regret your purchase if you look for something simple and with the quality of Olympus.
Sorry if I made a grammar/spelling mistake. English is not my mother tongue. | 2008-08-26 Perfect case for compact camera I wanted a case for my Olympus 1030SW - something compact just like the camera. I also have the Silicon Cover for the camera. With the cover on the camera it slides in nicely into the case. There is a pocket on the front and while there is not a zipper/button/velcro specifically for the pocket, it does get covered up by the flap of the main body of the case - so it does get protected. The pocket is big enough for a second battery and a media card. It has both a wriststrap and a velcro belt loop.
Would definitely recommend this product for the 1030SW.
| 2008-06-27 Camera Case Holds the Olympus camera I purchased for my daughter well. She likes it's ease of use. | 2008-06-04 Where's the extra pocket? Where's the extra pocket for the extra battery, memory card and charger? I want something with a zipper to hold the extra items. Not just a open pocket. | 2008-06-02 Neoprene Camera Case Excellent product and Price. Holds and protects the camera well - plus extra pockets for easy money or credit card storage! | |

Digital Cameras Novelty - Olympus FE-115Hello! Perhaps, you won’t agree with me, but the topmost news story for today for me seems to be the one from Olympus.
Today, Monday, February 20, 2006, in Singapore, Olympus, a pioneer in digital camera market and the opto-digital technologies leader, has introduced the latest easy-to-use and affordable compact digital camera.
Meet Olympus FE-115!
This new compact digital camera renders digital photography effortless and pleasing. Resting upon a one button - one function design philosophy, such essential functions as shooting, playback and erase are affordable on just one button touch. Besides, users profit from the function “help” in the menu, as it describes all the four scene modes (Portrait, Self-Portrait, Night Scene and Landscape).
Equipped with a 5.0 megapixel CCD, Olympus FE-115 delivers first-class results ensuring every single detail to be precisely captured and reproduced. The camera features a 2.8x optical zoom (equiv. 38-106mm on 35mm cameras) 1:3.0-5.0 for extra versatility by bringing remote objects closer. Moreover, total magnification is extended to more than 11x together with a 4x digital zoom.
But what I find the most attractive and appealing feature of the camera, is that it allows you to capture objects extremely close up!! – the Super Macro mode makes it possible to take pictures from merely 2cm.
Video sequences here are limited only by the size of available memory, what is one more plus in FE-115’s favour.
Additionally, PictBridge support gives a possibility of connection to compatible printers without a PC.
Powered by AA batteries the camera is fitted with a multi-mode built-in flash.
FE-115’s drawbacks?
Perhaps, it’s a rather small 3.8cm/1.5” LCD with 130,000 pixels.
Olympus FE-115 features a 28MB internal memory plus xD-Picture Card slot. The latter can also be viewed as a shortcoming, since xD cards are quite expensive.
Generally, in combination with a light-weight, ergonomically designed box, this new Olympus model is a perfect companion for everyday photographing. It will accompany you wherever and whenever you are heading for.
And, oh yes! One more thing. The FE-115 will be stocked at all major dealers and retailers in mid-March 2006 at a recommended $349 retail price. |
