2008-12-21 Viewing at it's Best We were only getting one channel until we bought the "Wingard Squareshooter" now we are receiving 23 stations and they are crystal clear. What more can you ask for. We are 40 to 50 miles from most of the stations so we are ecstatic that we are receiving them and receiving them well. |
2008-12-01 Very limited by line of sight to transmission towers After trying just about every antenna available locally I broke down and ordered the Winegard SS-1000 Squareshooter in hopes of receiving a better signal by moving my antenna outdoors. Unfortunately I do not have the ability to gain line of sight to the transmission towers and get only one of more than 6 stations available locally and the one station is not reliable. Not worth the money for me, but if you have line of sight it may be a good choice for you. |
2008-09-22 Square Shooter works very well! I actually ordered this Antenna for my sister-in-law. They are being used at a campground and they really work well. She saw how well mine worked, so I ordered her one as well. Great product. Prompt shipping. |
2008-09-09 excellent antenna This antenna works great for me. I had it sitting next to the tv to see what signals it could pick up. It got around 9 stations. Once it was on top of the garage I was able to get 22 digital stations. I am about 22~25 miles from the broadcast signals. The signals ranged from high 60's to high 70's. I have the antenna diplexed to three tv sets.
I wanted an antenna that was compact and worked well. After checking various reviews, I bought The Winegard SS2000. The football games in 1080i is phenomenal! |
2008-09-06 Only indoor antenna that works. Added a dtv adapter card to my computer and needed a good ant.
I live in a 2nd floor apt so an outdoor ant is out of the question.
After trying a number of ants. from a number of stores I found out that this antenna is rated as one of the best by hdtvantennalabs.com.
found this one on sale here.
shipment was prompt and unit arrived in good condition.
Now to figure out what to do with all those rabbit ears laying around? |
