Antennas Direct DB4 Multi Directional HDTV Antenna Sale: $38.60
Availability: Usually ships in 1-2 business days |
Product Description The DB4 has become our most popular model because it is simply the best Mid Range HDTV antenna on the market. With an approximate 13.7 dB gain, it is one of the strongest multi-directional antennas available and performs consistently across the entire UHF spectrum. It even works well in areas where HD transmitters are in multiple directions. The bow tie design of the DB4 uses triangular elements instead of rods to greatly increase the bandwidth allowing it to cover the entire UHF band. Additionally, the mesh reflector of the bowtie is more efficient than a rod reflector, is lower in weight, and provides less wind resistance for greater performance and durability. If you are looking for an antenna that is practically guaranteed to perform, the DB4 is one of your safest choices. It will pull in all UHF frequencies and most higher level VHF frequencies with a range of about 55 miles.

Customers Reviews 2008-11-20 Did a good job-- Easy to put together--did not give me a stronger signal that my old UHF-VHF antenna ( may be a little stronger)--BUT gave a larger angle than my Old Antenna--Had to use my rotor on my OLD ANTENNA- all the time-----BUT this new direct DB4-once I got it centered--all my signals came in fine. Shipping was free--and it came in a few days---I am happy---MY wife is VERY Happy with the new antenna---She hated trying to figure out where to point the Old Antenna. | 2008-11-19 Why does a review need a title? I'll call it......Review. This antennae works just as described by the many reviews I read on this particular product. When I installed it on the roof, I could see the towers on the mountain I was aiming it at, I have direct line of sight of the towers. All channels now come in pretty clear, but some of the big popular local channels have ghosting on them, even the HD broadcasts...sure beat the hell out of my rabbit ears though.....thx guys, I love it.... | 2008-11-13 Great Picture We got ours about a week ago. This antenna is meant to be installed outside. However, our covenants do not allow antennas (though they allow satellite dishes) outside. We placed ours in our attic. At first, we had some problems. We weren't sure if it was because of the length of the wire, the splitters we were using, or the fact that it is going through a surge protector. In the end, it turned out to be some faulty wiring that the builder placed in the house about 5 years ago. When we used a different wire, we had an amazing picture.
If you have any problems with your reception, check the wiring, splitters, connectors, etc before you give up and try something else because you won't have any luck with any antenna product if the rest of the system is not functional.
| 2008-11-09 did the trick I live in city of 1 million and mountains in area.
with an indoor antenna, even amplified, I had nothing but problems - ie poor signals.
Finally put up the DB4 under the old antenna on roof.
bingo - signals of 10 for most stations.
I still don't get one station, but that is do to distance greater than 40 miles.
bang for buck this is the one. | 2008-10-24 WORKS GOOD I live 35 miles from all the TV stations in my area so i wanted a good antenna to receive digital stations . I found that this one works great. the price is reasonable and shipping was free. Very easy to install. | |
