Customers Reviews 2008-12-22 very satisfied The antenna came in excellent condition and works fine it was a good buyand a fine product | 2008-11-04 excellent I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT I WILL ORDER AGAIN FROM AMAZON PLEASE INFORM ME WITH OTHER PRODUCTS. | 2008-07-26 If you have a good location, this works amazingly well. I use my Sirius Satellite indoors, not in my car. Why? Because NPR here in Nashville, TN is a cruel joke, and the Satellite will record my favorite programs, so I can listen to them as I do housework. Great! However, my reception was SO bad that I was ready to give up my Sirius subscription. What was the point in having this if I could never hear an entire program?
Well, one day my old antenna busted (I tripped over the wire), and so I ordered this one. I installed it on the outer post of my apartment terrace. There are trees around, and other buildings, and I am on the ground floor. I was hoping for some improvement, but not expecting much. It has made a TREMENDOUS difference. I now have perfect reception, 24/7. Everything comes in flawlessly, no more constant little skips and blips, no more 3 hours every single night without service. I LOVE this, and I love Sirius, and now plan to never give up my service. Ever!
| 2008-07-02 Great antenna for indoors or outdoors. I have many of these antennas and they all work great. I position them on the roof outside various rooms of my houses and at my parents' house too. I run the line in through a window or door. That way I can put a boombox or home dock in any room that has an antenna set up and I don't have to position the antenna each time I want to go from one room to another or to another house...I just take my receiver with me and have a few boomboxes which are also easy to move.
I even use one of these in my car and truck after my Sirius car antenna stopped working. I run the antenna out the sunroof of my car and it stays in place rather well (once in a while I have to reach out the window to reposition it on the roof). In the truck it fits on the dashboard under the windshield and never moves and never loses signal unless I'm in a long tunnel.
I would recommend getting several of these and posting them in the places you frequent most and then just carrying your receiver from place to place. | 2008-02-10 Location, location, location... I just have mine sitting on a desk in my room. On initial setup it takes some trial and error of pointing it in different directions to find the strongest signal. But once I found it, it works great. Once in a great while it seems to get some interference and I have to reposition it. But overall I'm pleased with it. | |
