2009-11-18 Great Item for the Price This monopod is very sturdy. For the price, it did impress me. I do not use any large telephoto lens, but the point-and-shoot, digital SLR and HDD video camera all fit and work well with this item. The only thing to keep an eye on is that pointy traction peg on the bottom. Make sure the rubber foot is screwed down to cover it before you set this on a wooden or other non-carpeted floor.
Good deal. |
2009-11-13 Lightweight but Solid This tripod is really lightweight compared to Bogen's, but surprisingly solid. It's taller than many monopods. Giottos MH1004 Mini Ball Head is a good companion to this monopod. It's great for lightweight traveling. Highly recommended. |
2009-11-03 Just as promised... I just got this and have used it only twice, but I can already say that is the best deal for your
money, it's steady and sturdy but lightweight enough to carry it around with no trouble, the bag
is also a nice feature in case you don't have a bag where you can strap it to.
I definitely recommend this product to anyone... |
2009-09-22 Monopod I Bought the monopod to help steady my camera when zoomed in. Took it to Morro Bay to film the seals and otters playing in the ocean. It was a real windy day so the monopod was not able to stabilize the camera much but it makes a dandy walking stick for hiking. Got a feeling it will do a good job if the wind is not too heavy |
2009-08-31 Great product at an affordable price I purchased this item after reading thru the reviews of other customers. Once I tried it, I was reassured of my decision to get it. It's sturdy and easy to use. I work on sport photography, so a monopod was a must for me. The opteka monopod is an excellent choice. |
