Customers Reviews 2008-09-07 Not what I would expect from Canon I just assumed that Canon would make a top quality haze filter, so I ordered it along w/ my new D40. The camera is great, but the filter was not, so I returned it. A local camera shop pro showed me how inferior it was to the equivalent filter by Hoya, which reflects almost no light, while the Canon reflects a great deal. The Hoya filter costs more than the Canon, but it certainly seems stupid to try to save $30 when you've invested $1000+ on a camera, especially when the filter directly affects the quality of the pictures -- which, after all, is what it's all about. | 2008-08-05 no change in pics doesn't seem to make any difference in my outside photos, but i do appreciate the added protection | 2008-07-19 good I am a beginner in photography and I am aware of the debate about using a filter and not using a filter. I chose to use one to protect my lens although it seems a little expensive for what it is. This filter is easy to install on the lens and remove for cleaning. It is working as I expected it to. | 2008-07-15 Canon 72mmUV Haze Filter This filter is a must to have in your accessory bag! It works wonders with the color images and making them as vibrant as they are intended to be! | 2008-07-10 Canon 72mm UV Haze filter review Nicely made filter. No problems with glass to metal mating, or threads. We're using it on a Sigma 18mm-200mm optically stablized lens. I'd recommend it to anyone needing such a filter. | |

Digital Camera Reviews: Canon PowerShots SD600, SD630, SD700 ISHello! Today we continue with our Canon digital cameras reviews. But in this post we will dwell on another series: Canon PowerShot SD. If you are not against, we will act on our old worked-out scheme, i.e. compare several cameras of the same series but of different level of production, I mean features and capabilities. We will distinguish between their similarities and differences and note this down in 2 tables.
(But if you have any objections, advice or wishes, you are welcome with them any time! I’ll be extremely happy to read and to take them in consideration, as well as try to fulfill.)
And today we are going to have a look at Canon PowerShot SD 600, SD630 and SD700 IS that will be available in April 2006. To be more exact, now we’ll delimit their properties and next time we’ll discuss their features, all the pros and cons in a more detailed way.
