Never received item
Ordered camera, no email from Ritz Camera explaining why it was cancelled. Phone calls got me no where. Very unhappy. Never received product, just a refund with STILL no answers.
I will never deal with them again.

If you have a DCS-760, KEEP IT!
We owned the DCS-760 in our pro photo lab. The camera was great. Then, kodak came out with the DCS-14n as a replacement. It was a huge mistake. The DCS-14n's sensor is simply of lower quality, shadows sometimes come out magenta. There is also a flare issue. Grey gradients, depending on the density come out green or yellow. And there are other issues as well, but you get the point. In conclusion, the DCS-760 was a far better camera.
Kodak recommends the use of a good lens with the DCS-14n to eliminate flare. We used the same lens to test both cameras, and the tests were performed under the same conditions. The results were very clear to us: keep the DCS-760.

Ghost camera
How can anyone write a reveiw of this camera?
No one in the WORLD has been able to use or reveiw it, let alone hold one.
Kodak is 6 months behind release date on this camera and still has not shipped one. Lets reveiw it when it finally comes out.

Absoulutly fantastic "A++"
The perfect digital camera ever made with over 13 mega pixels, this is the best and the only camera that any professional photographer should have.Very easy to use, much lighter than previous DCR-760 and much cheaper (about $... without lens).

Kodak Cameras History

The history of Kodak dates back to the 19th century, the very beginning of the photographic era.

In late 1870th George Eastman, a junior clerk in the Savings Bank in Rochester, USA, was going to set up for a journey and take some images during it but faced great difficulties of carrying all the necessary things – the camera & chemicals – with him. From that moment he got obsessed with the idea of making photography accessible to masses.

kodak 3A

The following years he was trying to invent what we all know as a photographic film. In comparison with plates rolls were easy to deal with and suitable for mass production and hence for nonexpert photography. In 1888 the world’s first film camera was unveiled - already under the Kodak brand. The name Kodak was also Eastman’s invention, whose favourite letter in the alphabet was “K.”

The slogan of Eastman Kodak Company was “You press the button, we do the rest.” So the next important innovation of them was photo printing service – users could simply send completed rolls of firm to the company, and receive ready-make images. This principle of having your photos printed at minilabs has been working up to now.
