People are lame... Welcome to shotaddict... Cant tell you how many of my pics have recieved 1 in subject and 1 in tech.. I get 1's on pretty much every picture i enter into a contest, even though the picture fits the contest in everyway and i have higher scores from other people.. People dont like it when you win more then them... Thats why i think to be able to vote in a contest you should have to be actively participating in contests as wel as the forums... It would stop all the accounts that have NOTHING on them and are only used for voting!!!!!!
I have also noticed, if you use your voice on this site and are overly oppionated, people tend to not like it and and not like you!!!!!!!!!.. therefore they low ball you!!!! Sad and childish.. But true.. We have lost a few really really good photographers on this site that we ALL could of learned from because of the childish ways of people!!!
Also, it may not even be someone that has entered a picture in the same contest... This is the internet... and an open web site... Some people honestly have nothing better to do then mess with other people.. Thats why we have sooo many virusis in internet land..
All i can say is dont sweat it.. Dont even give it another thought.. You know your picture is better then a 1, or else you wouldnt of entered it.. Yea it sucks to see that score.. But this is all in fun and games anyways.. Its about advancing your photography skills... Sweating a 1 score just isnt worth it!!! I know a million other things that are more important then a score of 1.... |

As of right now, I think I'm going to try get something worked out with Aleksandra and Eugene to fix the problems here. If moderators could track votes I think the problems would be eliminated for the most part.
