I have a pretty old version of Photoshop Elements ( I think it is version 2.0) and was wondering if there was a way to do digital mattes.
I posted a picture of an attempt I made simply with some backshadow. Just wondering what people thought. You can comment on the picture as well if you like, just realize I just used one out of my random files I like.

(I know its been a while since I posted anything. I am a college student and when I go home for winter break my parents have dial-up, making anything dealing with the internet extremely annoying) |

I'm not sure about Element 2.0 but if you want to add matting, borders, etc. use this site: http://www.picnik.com
they have a free portion where one can do a little editing and add borders and frames to your shots.
