I was lucky enough to have my long lens on today and got a couple of shots of this pair of eagles.

There is a blue edge to all the branches of the tree.. I think it's Chromatic aberration but I'm not sure how to correct the problem without washing out the blue sky. Any help would be appreciated.

Wonderfuul pair of Eagles Jim! You're lucky to come across such a pair.

As for the chromatic aberration here's a good website that explains it.

Just got back form ice fishing this evening. Was it ever snowing and blowing out! But there's nothing like a hot pot of chilly on the old woodstove in the ice shack.

Jim I just tagged onto to your eagle shot so as not to bump you off - hope you don't mind.

Obviously the fish were smart enough to stay in the warm water... Ice Fishing.. A concept this ole desert rat just doesn't understand.

BTW... I really like the snow shot.

JLW, in Paintshop Pro there is an option that lets you correct for chromatic aberration. I would assume there's one in Photoshop as well. You can't correct for it globally (i.e., by changing the blue channel of the entire picture).

P.S.: If I could suggest a topic for a new contest (can't at the moment, not "senior" enough) it would be: trees.
