Your problem with the bluish tint ist an incorrect white balance setting that's unsuited for the lighting situation at hand.
There are three ways to fix this. The first one is to take pictures in RAW format and fix the white balance later with an image editing program which can deal with the Nikon RAW format (such as Capture NX).
The second solution is to set the camera white balance to a predifined setting which approximates the current situation most accurately. Usually these are presets for sunny, cloudy, incandescent, fluorescent, and flash.
The third (and probably best way, if your camery supports this) is to take a snap shot of something white or grey (such as the snow in your picture) and tell the camera to use this picture to determine the correct color temperature (white balance) settings by itself. If you still shoot in RAW format, you can fine tune the white balance later by software.
