We have added that option when our photography contest members have no opportunity to see who is the author of the image they vote for and what that image current score is while the contest voting is not over yet.

Thanks to those who offered this feature - Chieflong and HeatherLynne.

Please, pm me with more ideas to improve our photo contests and website.

One more little suggestion - have the images appear in random order on the voting/rating page so no one knows what photo is in first place. And if this implemented I would suggest that, where it says "Contest Images > First....." that you simply label "Random Contest Images" and show thumbnails. I know the thumbnail thing may not be that easy but would welcome it if possible.
Thanks again for listen and acting on OUR (the members) suggestion with regard to not listing the scores 'til after the contest is over.

I was wondering if you guys had thought anymore about changing the fact that you can see what place each photo is in before the contest is over.. Changing that i think that the contest voting would be a lil more fair.. And also maybe hide the amount of votes each photo has gotten!!.. Just until after the contest. One thing i have noticed is you can tell who the photographer is up untill the contest goes into voting.. Can ya hide it before????... Just wonderin!!

I totally agree with "Dimples"! Hide the placement of each photo till the contest is over. If you can hide the comments surely you'll be able to hide the votes/scores. Just a random list of the photos entered is all you need.

Hey, guys, I can see the number of votes each image has received when I visit the voting section.

But where can I see the place each photo is in before the contest is over? Let me know and we will remove that info.

After you click on "cast your vote" in the contest section then click on "cast your vote " on any photo, a complete numbered listing 1 thru ??? comes up. That numbered list of the photos is in the order of their current ranking.

You can also see all the photos entered in a current contest prior to the voting by clicking on a "recent entry" listed on the home page.

In the photographers section you can click on your name and then by clicking on "comments received" you can see any coment that someone has left along with the current score/avg for your entry... prior to the close of the contest. If your photo is in 1 2 or 3 position your "number of contests won" will have increased... before the close of the contest. You can always leave yourself a comment on a current entry if you want to see the score.

I think I have too much time on my hands.
